About the Partners

Palomar Gas Transmission is a partnership between NW Natural and TransCanada. NW Natural is the largest independent natural gas utility in the Pacific Northwest and a major provider of natural gas storage services, with more than 667,000 home, business, and industrial customers in Oregon and southwest Washington. NW Natural is also one of the fastest-growing local distribution companies in the nation. The company has approximately $2.0 billion in total assets, including 16 billion cubic feet of underground gas storage capacity within its service territory at Mist, Ore.

NW Natural is headquartered in Portland, Ore. Its common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol NWN. NW Natural has increased its dividend paid on common stock for 52 consecutive years.

TransCanada is a leader in the responsible development and reliable operation of North American energy infrastructure including natural gas pipelines and storage facilities and power generation. In the Pacific Northwest, TransCanada owns the GTN System, a pipeline that traverses Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. GTN’s headquarters are in Portland.

TransCanada’s network of wholly owned pipelines extends more than 37,000 miles, tapping into virtually all major gas supply basins in North America. TransCanada is one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services with approximately 380 billion cubic feet of storage capacity.

A growing independent power producer, TransCanada owns or has interests in approximately 11,700 megawatts of power generation in Canada and the United States. TransCanada’s common shares trade on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges under the symbol TRP.
